What is Emiratisation?

Emiratisation is the UAE programme to increase the number of UAE nationals working in the private sector. It sets hiring targets for eligible companies.

Does Emiratisation apply to my company?

Requirements depend on company size, sector and licence. Rules are set by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) and change over time, so check the latest guidance or ask us.

What happens if targets are not met?

MoHRE can apply financial contributions to companies that miss their targets. Current amounts and deadlines are published by MoHRE.

What is Nafis?

Nafis is a federal programme that supports UAE nationals working in the private sector, including salary support and training. Eligible Emirati hires may benefit from it.
